As part of the activities of the Third International Festival of Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, led an official and academic delegation on a field visit to the university’s Natural Reserve, one of the university’s pioneering initiatives in the field of environmental preservation and biodiversity protection. This visit underscores the university's commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 15 – Life on Land, through raising environmental awareness and supporting sustainable initiatives. The delegation toured the reserve, which includes vast green spaces, a diverse range of native plants, and a collection of animals living in a safe and natural environment. Visitors were also introduced to the modern technologies and smart environmental systems employed in monitoring and protecting wildlife, including AI-powered solutions. The guests expressed their admiration for this unique project, affirming that Al-Mustaqbal University’s Natural Reserve stands as a model of excellence in integrating sustainability with education, scientific research, and community engagement.
