Day Three of the “3rd International AL-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week” at AL-Mustaqbal University
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of AL-Mustaqbal University, welcomed the distinguished guests of the festival’s third day, which featured the presence of several notable figures, including: • Prof. Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili (Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Administrative Affairs) • Prof. Dr. Ali Maseer (President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate) • Dr. Fadel Al-Badran (Deputy Minister of Culture) • Prof. Dr. Mithaq Al-Jubouri (Assistant for Administrative Affairs at the University of Babylon) • Dr. Saad Maan (Media Advisor at the Ministry of Interior) • Mr. Thaer Al-Jubouri (Head of the Teachers Syndicate – Babylon Branch) • Dr. Mushtaq Talib (Representative of Academics in Babylon) along with the delegation from Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in Turkey. The guests toured the university’s nature reserve, which is home to a variety of animals and purebred horses, reflecting the university’s commitment to SDG 15: Life on Land through efforts to protect biodiversity and support terrestrial ecosystems. This distinguished gathering also reinforced SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as the university continues to build strategic national and international alliances to advance sustainability and shared development goals.
