The festival runs from April 16 to 24 and has drawn a wide audience from across Iraq and beyond, including officials, academics, and cultural figures. The performance brought to life vivid scenes of Iraqi identity through a dynamic display of traditional garments that reflected key historical stages. It was a celebration of authenticity, artistry, and heritage that added a powerful cultural dimension to the festival’s opening and was met with great admiration and enthusiastic engagement from attendees. Among the distinguished guests were the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Ameen Al-Yasiri, President of the University of Babylon; Mr. Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi, Governor of Babylon; Mr. Asaad Al-Muslawi, Chairman of the Babylon Provincial Council; and Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet, President of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in Turkey, along with other university presidents, deans, researchers, and students.
