The meeting focused on exploring avenues for academic collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the field of engineering—a core specialization at LIK. Both parties expressed strong interest in fostering academic partnerships and exchanging expertise in engineering programs, aiming to promote innovation and enhance students’ competencies in this vital discipline. During the discussions, Prof. Dr. Majid received an official invitation to attend an international conference hosted by LIK in Lithuania. The conference will also serve as a platform to discuss potential cooperation frameworks and expand future partnership opportunities between the institutions. It is worth noting that LIK is one of the oldest and most respected higher education institutions in Lithuania. Established in 1920, the institution boasts over a century of experience in engineering education. LIK currently offers 15 professional bachelor’s degree programs, emphasizing a strong integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills—equipping graduates for successful careers in a competitive job market.
