IR Receiver Sensor Now Available at Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications
As part of its ongoing efforts to support practical research and innovation, Al-Mustaqbal University has equipped the Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications with the widely used Infrared Receiver (IR Receiver) sensor, essential in smart control systems, robotics, and interactive technologies. This sensor enables students and researchers to implement projects that receive signals from remote controllers and convert them into programmable digital commands, using microcontrollers such as Arduino. The sensor serves as a gateway to creative applications in smart homes, educational tools, assistive technology, and automated systems. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)—by equipping students and labs with accessible and impactful technologies.
