Al-Mustaqbal University Hosts a Summer Training Lecture on Using Distance Sensors with Microcontrollers
As part of the ongoing Summer Training Program for students of the Faculties of Engineering and Technical Technologies, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and with the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, a technical lecture was held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, entitled: "Using Distance Sensors with Microcontrollers", delivered by Eng. Mohammed Saad Abais. The lecture covered both theoretical and practical aspects of distance sensors, demonstrating how they interact with microcontrollers such as Arduino. Practical examples were shared to showcase real-world applications in robotics, automation, and smart systems. This session aimed to enhance students' skills in embedded systems and sensor integration, supporting the university's efforts to bridge education with practical innovation and contributing to the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
