Al-Mustaqbal University Showcases Its Leading Sustainability Initiatives to the “Sustainable University” Committee
As part of its strategic vision to champion environmental sustainability and innovation, Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed the field follow-up committee of the "Sustainable University" competition, organized by the Ministries of Higher Education and Environment, to review the university’s on-ground initiatives aligned with the competition’s sustainability standards. The delegation was warmly received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuheiri, Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision, along with several directors of administrative and scientific departments. The visit began with a detailed presentation by Prof. Dr. Al-Zuheiri, outlining the university’s most impactful sustainability projects and highlighting its significant advancement in the 2025 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. As part of the tour, the committee visited the Center of Al-Mustaqbal for Artificial Intelligence Applications, where they explored various cutting-edge projects that integrate AI technologies in service of environmental sustainability and digital transformation. The center’s role was highlighted as a core pillar in the university’s efforts to blend innovation with sustainable development.
