Training Lecture at Al-Mustaqbal University on Integrating Distance Sensors with Microcontrollers
As part of the Summer Training Program designed for students of the Faculties of Engineering and Technical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University hosted a scientific lecture on Saturday, June 21, 2025, entitled: "Using Distance Sensors with Microcontrollers", under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, and the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications. The session was delivered by Eng. Mohammed Saad Abais, who presented the fundamentals of various distance sensors and demonstrated how to connect and program them using microcontrollers like Arduino. The lecture included practical examples relevant to robotics, alert systems, and smart technologies. The lecture aimed to build students’ capabilities in embedded systems and intelligent control, in alignment with modern engineering practices. It also supported the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
