As part of the Summer Training Program supervised by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, the fourth lecture was held on Monday, June 16, 2025, entitled: “Ethics of Artificial Intelligence”, delivered by Programmer Sarah Sadoon Abbas, a member of the center’s team. The lecture highlighted key ethical challenges faced by AI technologies, including: Algorithmic bias and unfair discrimination Privacy and data confidentiality Transparency and accountability in automated decision-making Ethics of robotics and autonomous systems The session included real-world case studies and interactive discussions with students to understand the societal impact of these issues and their implications for decision-making. The lecture aimed to raise ethical awareness among students in developing and using AI technologies, preparing them to appreciate the human and moral dimensions of technological innovation.
