An awareness workshop entitled: “Women and Their Role in Promoting Justice and Human Rights.”
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Prosthetics Techniques, organized an awareness workshop entitled: “Women and Their Role in Promoting Justice and Human Rights” The workshop was held on Monday, 9/2/2026. The workshop addressed the pivotal role of women in consolidating the principles of social justice and promoting human rights through empowerment and active participation in various fields, as an essential element in achieving sustainable development and building a balanced society based on equality and respect for human dignity. The workshop also shed light on contemporary challenges related to climate change and the risks resulting from it, and explained their impact on women and their role in raising community awareness and supporting initiatives aimed at reducing the effects of these changes. The workshop was organized in implementation of the Climate Change and Associated Risks Axis (Axis Five), within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing legal and social awareness and supporting women’s role in addressing societal and environmental challenges.
