Scientific Seminar Entitled: “Women’s Empowerment through the Development of Personal and Professional Skills”

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts and Humanities / Department of English Language and Literature, organized a scientific seminar entitled: “Women’s Empowerment through the Development of Personal and Professional Skills” on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Rusul Neama Kamal. The seminar aimed to strengthen the role of women in society by enhancing their personal and professional skills, thereby increasing their self-confidence and enabling them to effectively address workplace challenges and achieve professional success. It also sought to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and practical tools, with a focus on developing communication skills, decision-making abilities, and effective teamwork. Moreover, the seminar emphasized fostering a spirit of initiative and leadership among women, empowering them to optimally invest their capabilities and potential. It further contributed to promoting women’s active participation in various fields, in alignment with the principles of sustainable development. This seminar was conducted in accordance with the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, particularly within the pillars of prevention and protection, and in support of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 5, which focuses on gender equality.
