​Al-Mustaqbal University launched its 5th Annual Book Fair on Saturday morning, April 4, 2026. This is the largest cultural event among Iraqi universities, held under the slogan "Our Books, Our Future." The opening ceremony was attended by many professors, students, and intellectuals. Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, Assistant to the University President, said the fair is a leading platform that shows the university's support for science and culture. ​The event features 25 international publishing houses, offering a wide variety of books, along with plays and art exhibitions. A special initiative was also started to give students free book coupons to encourage reading. The fair will last for a full week, giving everyone a chance to visit. This event reflects the university's vision to build a smart and educated generation for the future.
