Al-Mustaqbal University concluded its fifth annual book fair on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Held under the slogan "Our Books, Our Future," the five-day event featured 25 Iraqi and Arab publishing houses and was hosted at the Central Student Activities Hall. ​Under the patronage of University President Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the fair attracted many academics and cultural figures. The program included seminars, poetry evenings, workshops, and book-signing events. ​Dr. Ahmed Hassan Shaker, Head of Student Activities, noted that this edition saw expanded participation and stronger cultural partnerships.
