Under the patronage of the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, organized an awareness campaign titled “Violence Against Women” on 24/11/2025, in conjunction with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The campaign aims to promote a culture that rejects all forms of violence, enhance awareness of the woman’s role in society, and highlight the importance of providing a safe environment that protects her rights and preserves her dignity. This initiative also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 5, which focuses on gender equality and women’s empowerment. The event was presented by Assistant Lecturer Dhi Salam Hamza, Ms. Rayahin Abdul-Nasser, and Assistant Lecturer Taybah Faisal Jabir, who discussed the various forms of violence, its psychological and social effects, as well as methods of prevention and mechanisms of community and institutional support. Through such activities, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to continuing its humanitarian and awareness-raising role and to promoting a culture of women’s rights within and beyond the university community.
