As part of its efforts to develop scientific partnerships and expand the environment of research and innovation, Al-Mustaqbal University organized an official visit to the Central Laboratories of the Scientific Research Authority. The visit was headed by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, with the participation of the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Prof. Dr. Tareq Jawad Kazem, and under the direction of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi. The visit included a field tour of several advanced research units and laboratories, where the delegation reviewed the modern technologies used in analysis, testing, and scientific examinations, in addition to exploring key projects and capabilities available within the laboratories. The activity also involved discussing opportunities for joint cooperation between both sides in the fields of applied research, implementing specialized training programs, and exchanging expertise among researchers, as well as the possibility of launching joint scientific projects that support the research sector and enhance student competencies. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi affirmed Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to building effective partnerships that strengthen its research standing and provide researchers and students with a developed scientific environment that fosters innovation and meets the needs of society and the labor market. For their part, officials of the laboratories and research centers at the Scientific Research Authority expressed their warm welcome for the visit, confirming their full readiness to collaborate on scientific initiatives and partnership programs that support the quality of higher education and academic development in Iraq. This visit comes in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of expanding its research presence and building an academic system grounded in innovation and scientific integration, thereby enhancing its role as a leading academic institution serving the community and advancing knowledge.
