Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Department of Prosthetics Techniques, is organizing an awareness campaign titled “Together to End Violence Against Women” on 26/11/2025, as part of the Prevention and Protection pillar. The campaign was carried out through the design and preparation of an awareness brochure titled “Together to End Violence Against Women,” created by Ms. Tabarak Ahmed Turki. The activity aimed to raise community awareness about the dangers of violence against women and to highlight methods of legal and social prevention and protection. The brochure included several key themes, most notably: • Introducing the various forms of violence that women may face in society. • Clarifying women’s legal and social rights and the available protection mechanisms. • Promoting the values of equality and respect within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 5 related to gender equality. • Contributing to the creation of a safe educational environment that supports the principles of justice and peace. This activity comes as part of the Women’s Affairs Division’s commitment to supporting and empowering university women and promoting a culture of non-violence, ensuring a healthy and safe educational and community environment for all female students.
