As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its partnerships with the industrial sector, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Mr. Taylan Toler, General Manager of Al-Mutahida Company for Packaging, Granule Manufacturing, and Processing, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing scientific and technical collaboration between both sides and opening new avenues for training, development, and capacity building. The agreement includes on-site training programs for Al-Mustaqbal University students within the company across several engineering specializations, as well as the potential provision of job opportunities for outstanding graduates. It also encompasses conducting joint research in the company’s laboratories and facilities, in addition to offering specialized training programs delivered by the university for the company’s staff in administrative, accounting, and legal fields. The agreement was signed during an official visit by a high-level delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University headed by Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi to the company’s headquarters. The visit began with an extensive meeting between both parties, during which the University President emphasized the importance of engaging with the industrial sector as a key partner in supporting applied programs and enhancing students’ practical skills. He also reviewed the university’s recent achievements at both the local and international levels, noting that the university places educational quality and strong learning outcomes at the forefront of its priorities—reflected in the excellent results achieved by its students in the ministerial assessment exams. For their part, officials at Al-Mutahida Company welcomed the university delegation and expressed their full readiness to build a strategic partnership with Al-Mustaqbal University, which has earned a distinguished reputation and strong academic standing. The meeting included a video presentation introducing Al-Mustaqbal University, followed by a company presentation outlining its industrial activities and areas of operation. At the end of the visit, the university delegation conducted a field tour of the company’s production lines, laboratories, and technical workshops to explore available capabilities and future opportunities for applied cooperation. The delegation, headed by Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, included Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision , Asst. Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, Dean of the College of Engineering , and Asst. Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies as well as a number of faculty members and department directors associated with the areas of joint cooperation.
