Awareness Workshop titled: “Domestic Violence”
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit in the College of Education, headed by Prof. Dr. Thanaa Bahauddin, organized an awareness workshop titled “Domestic Violence.” The workshop was held for students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider Kazem, who explained the concept of domestic violence, its forms, and its psychological, social, and educational effects on family members and society, as well as ways to address this issue. This activity falls within the Iraqi National Strategic Plan for Women – Third Axis, Paragraph 1.
