Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit in the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Thanaa Bahauddin, organized an awareness seminar titled “Harassment and Cyber Blackmail and Their Impact on the Sustainability of Women’s Mental Health.” The seminar was held on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at 11:00 a.m., for students of the Departments of Educational and Psychological Sciences, and Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education. This activity falls within the Iraqi National Strategic Plan for Women – Third Axis, Paragraph (1), aiming to enhance community awareness of digital security issues and protect women from electronic violations. The seminar was presented by Asst. Lect. Noor Mushheb and Asst. Lect. Fatima Turki Sahib, who explained the meaning of digital harassment, its motives, forms, risks, and methods of prevention and protection. Additionally, Asst. Lect. Al-Hassan Ali Roudhan, Head of the Legal Unit in the college, discussed the legal aspects of digital harassment and its associated penalties. Prof. Dr. Thanaa Bahauddin also spoke about the impact of harassment on the sustainability of women’s mental health.
