Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Roudhan Salman, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education, headed by Professor Dr. Thanaa Bahauddin, organized an awareness seminar on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the Lady of the Women of the Worlds, Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her). The seminar aimed to highlight the bright aspects of the life of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), to recall her fragrant biography, and to emphasize what she represents as a symbol of the devoted, giving, self-sacrificing, faithful woman who is patient in the face of hardships. The activity was held on Wednesday, 5/12/2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Humanities Building, Hall 505. The seminar was contributed to by Professor Dr. Thanaa Bahauddin, Professor Dr. Abdul Salam Joudat, Assistant Lecturer Iltefat Aliwi, and Assistant Lecturer Shadan Salah. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College, the heads of the scientific departments, and a distinguished group of faculty members. Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Roudhan Salman, the respected Dean of the College, emphasized the importance of commemorating this blessed occasion for the noble values it embodies, which strengthen faith, humanity, and good role models. He stated: “Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) represents an eternal model of the faithful and patient woman.” The seminar concluded with a recommendation emphasizing the necessity for Iraqi women to draw lessons and inspiration from the pure and honorable life of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and to embody the values of patience, sacrifice, and sincerity. This activity falls within the framework of the National Strategic Plan for Iraqi Women.
