The Scientific Affairs Department at the University of Al-Mustaqbal participated in the Al-Mustaqbal Forum for Water Conservation, which was organized by the Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Al-Mustaqbal. This participation came within the framework of enhancing awareness of the importance of preserving water resources and supporting environmental sustainability efforts The forum was attended by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at the University of Al-Mustaqbal, Dr. Muthanna Al-Watifiy, Director of Water Resources in Babil Governorate, and Prof. Dr. Tareq Jawad Kazem, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University of Al-Mustaqbal, in addition to a number of faculty members, researchers, and those interested in environmental affairs The forum included discussions on several important topics related to the current status of water resources in Iraq, the challenges facing water resources, and ways to preserve them through scientific research and institutional cooperation. Emphasis was placed on the role of universities in spreading a culture of sustainability and contributing to practical and scientific solutions to these challenges This participation comes as part of the University of Al-Mustaqbal’s orientation toward supporting scientific and environmental activities that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and serving the community
