" Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the Launch Ceremony of the Third Edition of the " Study in Iraq” Program

" Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the Launch Ceremony of the Third Edition of the "Study in Iraq” Program Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the central ceremony launching the third edition of the “Study in Iraq” program for the academic year 2025–2026. The event was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and attended by high-level representatives from international organizations, Arab and foreign diplomatic corps, several presidents of Iraqi .universities, and academic and parliamentary figures The university delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Sameer Ibrahim Abbas, Director of the Department of International and Local Cultural Relations, and Mr. Mohammed Fadel Mousa, representing the Registration and Student Affairs Department. This participation reflects the university’s commitment to supporting national programs and initiatives that promote internationalization and open avenues for academic cooperation with countries around .the world In his speech, His Excellency the Minister announced the provision of more than 16,000 scholarships in the new edition of the program, covering various academic disciplines with a focus on cultural exchange and enhancing the research environment. He also directed the establishment of the “Study in Iraq” association for international students and the official designation of April 30th each year as International Student Day. Additionally, efforts will be made to .enhance Arabic language programs for non-native speakers and provide practical training for incoming students Dr. Tap Raj, Acting Head of the UNESCO Office in Iraq, congratulated the Ministry of Higher Education on this initiative, affirming that Iraq continues to reclaim its academic standing by opening its doors to students from around .the world

The Registration and Student Affairs Department has completed the verification of school documents

As part of the duties and responsibilities of the Registration and Student Affairs Department, the department has completed the verification of the authenticity of the documents for fourth-year students from all academic departments, for both morning and evening studies, and across the various academic branches including scientific, vocational, biological, applied, and others. A total of 3,398 documents were verified for the scientific branch and 727 for the vocational branch. This task was accomplished within only four days. It is worth noting that this stage qualifies .students for graduation for the academic year 2024–2025

The Registration and Student Affairs Department receives original documents and follows up on student deficiencies

As part of enhancing the services of the Registration and Student Affairs Department, the department responds to all student inquiries and follows up on receiving any missing documents related to student registration, as well as the original graduation documents from secondary education. This is in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research stated in the Application Guide and the Admission Regulations for Private :Universities and Colleges, paragraph (A-5-2 / D) “A student’s admission will be canceled if the student does not submit the original secondary school graduation document, authenticated by the General Directorate of Education, to the registration office of the university/college .”they joined after the 2024-2025 academic year The department provides students with official letters addressed to their secondary schools for the purpose of .obtaining and submitting the original graduation documents

The Registration and Student Affairs Department organized a food basket distribution campaign on campus to promote sustainable development.

As part of promoting the principles of sustainable development and contributing to supporting the university community, the Registration and Student Affairs Department organized a campaign to distribute food baskets to the workers within the university campus. This initiative aims to provide food support to individuals who may face .difficulties in securing their basic needs, thus fostering a spirit of collaboration and solidarity within the university The campaign included the distribution of food baskets containing a variety of food items such as rice, canned goods, grains, and other food products, in order to meet the workers' needs during this period. The campaign was carried out in collaboration with the department manager and staff, ensuring that the baskets reached as many beneficiaries as possible. This campaign is part of the university's commitment to supporting sustainable development, as it works to raise awareness about the importance of equitable resource distribution and reducing food waste. The campaign also contributes to strengthening solidarity among the members of the university community, reflecting the university's . values of serving the community and achieving sustainable development

The Registration and Student Affairs Department organizes a tree-planting campaign to support sustainability and improve the environment atAL_mustaqbal University.

As part of our commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, the Registration and Student Affairs Department organized a large-scale tree planting campaign on campus on April 12, 2025. The campaign was led by the Director of the Registration Department, Mr. Mohsen Abd Hamza, along with several of his staff members The campaign included the planting of more than 20 different types of local tree species across various courtyards, pathways, and open areas within the campus. The goal was to increase green spaces and create a healthy and .inspiring environment for learning and creativity This campaign is part of a series of activities and initiatives launched by the university to promote sustainable .development and cultivate a culture of environmental care among students and the entire university community

The Registration and Student Affairs Department is preparing for the Al-mustaqbal Sustainability Week

As part of the activities of the Almustqbal Sustainability Week, which will be launched from April 16, 2025 to April 24, 2025, the Registration and Student Affairs Department has begun full preparations to participate in this annual event, which will mark the fifteenth anniversary of the establishment of the college and the second anniversary of its transformation into the University of the AL-mustaqbal . Numerical statistics have been formed to show the increase in the number of students accepted into the various departments and colleges of the university, starting from the founding of the university in 2010 until the current year 2025.
