The College of Medicine is one of the colleges affiliated with Al-Mustaqbal University, established in 2024 under decree No. (7/35/6707), with the aim of providing high-quality medical education and graduating competent physicians capable of delivering healthcare across various medical specialties.

The college aims to prepare professional medical cadres through advanced medical education programs, with a strong focus on developing students’ academic and practical skills.

The college is equipped with the latest medical technologies and tools to support students in studying medical subjects and practicing practical skills. It also features state-of-the-art specialized medical laboratories, modern lecture halls, as well as facilities for clinical and field training.

Al-Mustaqbal University’s College of Medicine strives to be a leading institution in medical education in Iraq by providing an outstanding learning environment that emphasizes academic quality and the development of students’ clinical skills.We should note as well that the College is equipped with the Latest Medical Technology and Devices, as well as Specialized Laboratories, Modern Classrooms, as well as other facilities for Clinical and Field Training. As matter of fact, College of Medicine of Al-Mustaqbal University seeks to become a Leader at Medical Education in Iraq through the establishment of a Distinguished Environment where focus is mainly concentrated on Academic Quality and development of Students Clinical Skills.

In its Vision, College of Medicine aspires to become a Pioneering Institution at qualifying Future Scientists, Researchers and Physicians, obligated to improving and providing High-Quality Health Care in accordance with the Society Needs. Besides, the College aims to excel as one of the most prominent Medical Colleges in Iraq, having a tangible impact on Iraqi Health System. Meanwhile, it seeks to provide Innovative Proposals and Visions in the Fields of Clinical and Basic Medical Sciences, and ensuring that Society Health Needs are fully carried out at both Local and International Levels.

In its Mission, College of Medicine focuses on the enhancement of Health Care Quality, being highly committed to graduating Qualified Doctors equipped with all required skills, in addition to Continuous Learning throughout their Career, having a clear understanding of their duties and rights, and thus being quite able to advance efficiently in their careers without facing obstacles or challenges.

The College Objectives can be summarized as follows:
1. Graduating Physicians qualified with a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and General Surgery, equipped with profound knowledge and Advanced Professional Skills that would enable them to work safely and effectively in the Field of Medicine.
2. Training doctors who are qualified to diagnose and evaluate size and nature of major health problems, and develop effective strategies with which they could treat and limit spread of common diseases.
3. Being Committed to the Concept of Continuous Learning and Periodic Evaluation of Strategies.
4. Promotion of Competencies & Skills, being quite necessary to Students in order to get involved at Graduate Studies and Specialized Training Programs that would enable them to improve their performance and develop their careers.
5. Emphasis of Principles, Trends and Values related to Practice of Medical Science.
6. Establishment of a Comprehensive Health System through continuous coordination and cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.
7. Conduct of Research Programs regarding Community Problems and Health Needs.
8. Developing Doctors’ Abilities to effectively listen to Patients, and understand their Health Problems. However, this can be achieved through Intensive Clinical Training at the early stages of their University Studies.
