Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, the College of General Medicine participated in the launch activities of Al-Mustaqbal Hackathon for Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development, held on Monday, 9 February 2026, at the Activities Hall. The hackathon aims to support innovation and encourage students to employ artificial intelligence technologies to develop practical solutions that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and serving the community. The event witnessed outstanding competition among the participating teams, who presented innovative ideas and projects reflecting the students’ creativity and technical skills. At the conclusion of the activities, the names of the winning students were announced as follows: Mustafa Moayed Abdul Karim Hussam Ziyad Abdullah Abdul Hussein Buraq Maytham This participation reaffirms the College of General Medicine’s commitment to supporting scientific and technological activities that enhance students’ capabilities and strengthen their role in keeping pace with modern developments in artificial intelligence and technology, in a manner that serves the path of sustainable development. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities.
