College of Medicine Holds an Awareness Workshop Entitled “Blood Donation Is a Moral, Humanitarian, and Social Responsibility That Saves Patients’ Lives and Promotes Social Solidarity”

Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, the College of Medicine held an awareness workshop entitled “Blood Donation Is a Moral, Humanitarian, and Social Responsibility That Saves Patients’ Lives and Promotes Social Solidarity”, at the medical laboratories. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Naji Abdullah, who highlighted the humanitarian and health importance of blood donation and its vital role in saving the lives of patients and the injured, in addition to its contribution to strengthening the values of social solidarity and community responsibility among members of society, particularly youth and students. The workshop witnessed notable attendance and positive interaction from students. It also falls within the College’s ongoing commitment to organizing scientific and awareness-raising activities that serve the community and promote initiatives that have a significant impact on public benefit. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities.
