Al-Mustaqbal University Council Session: Commitment to Digital Transformation and Quality Education

The seventh session of the Al-Mustaqbal University Council was chaired by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the university campus. The session was attended by council members, including vice presidents and deans of the colleges, and covered a rich agenda focusing on digital transformation and educational quality. At the outset, the University President emphasized the importance of adhering to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He highlighted the need to complete registration requirements on modern educational platforms such as IQ Learning and SIS, calling on council members to intensify their efforts to ensure the effective completion of this task, thereby maximizing students’ benefit from available digital resources. The session also stressed the necessity of program accreditation for all departments and programs, in accordance with ministry directives and prevailing compatibility principles. This measure requires integrated efforts across the various colleges to achieve quality standards in education. The session celebrated Prof. Dr. Alaa Dhari for earning the rank of professorship, reflecting appreciation for the outstanding academic contributions of the university’s faculty members. The council also discussed the activation of scientific and student activities, commending the active participation of students in various events. The University President thanked the academic supervisor and the Department of Diwan Affairs for their successful oversight of the National Plantation Campaign, expressing gratitude to all colleges that contributed to its success. In support of scientific research, the council approved the establishment of scientific journals and the organization of conferences presented in the agenda, representing an important step toward advancing academic standards. The council announced the adoption of the period from March 11 to 16, 2026, for the annual celebration during the fourth week of sustainability and the university’s anniversary, with great anticipation for events that will showcase the university’s achievements and future programs. Finally, the council approved summer training plans for students and faculty members in England, Egypt, and Turkey, according to the submitted programs, which are expected to enhance participants’ skills and practical experience. This session represents a vital step toward achieving Al-Mustaqbal University’s goals of transforming into a distinguished digital learning environment that meets the highest standards of educational quality.
