Al-Mustaqbal University Holds an Expanded Seminar to Review Digital Transformation Requirements, Program Accreditation, and Work Development Mechanisms

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to enhancing institutional performance and advancing the quality of academic and administrative work, University President Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi chaired an expanded seminar that brought together senior staff, faculty members, and employees from all university formations, with the aim of reviewing performance across various sectors and discussing mechanisms for development and institutional organization. The University President opened the seminar with a welcoming address in which he extended his congratulations to university staff on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, praising the achievements accomplished by the university across various fields during the previous period, and affirming that these accomplishments were the result of the collective efforts of colleges, academic departments, and supporting units within the university presidency. In his address, the President emphasized the importance of teamwork and continuing efforts to improve institutional performance, particularly in the automation of university operations. He highlighted the need to focus on automating the educational process in alignment with the electronic platforms launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, contributing to enhanced academic management efficiency and the development of an advanced digital learning environment. He also stressed the importance of supporting students and considering them key partners in the university's journey and achievements, underscoring the need to promote a culture of mutual respect and professional and humane interaction among all members of the university community. Regarding the seminar sessions, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, reviewed key indicators related to research activity at the university and performance evaluation mechanisms in line with the plans of academic formations for the 2025–2026 academic year. He also addressed ways to activate memoranda of understanding with local and international universities, contributing to strengthening the university's academic reputation and enhancing its presence in international academic circles. In the same context, he referred to the ongoing preparations for hosting the "Future Sustainability Week," scheduled to be held on campus in mid-April of the current year, as well as the university's institutional participation in the EURIE 2026 – Eurasia Higher Education Summit, set to take place in early April in Istanbul, which is considered one of the most prominent international events in the field of higher education internationalization and academic partnerships. The Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, also presented guidelines related to examination committees and mechanisms for organizing examination processes to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. The seminar further included a review of several important organizational files, including registration instructions for electronic learning systems such as IQ-Learning and SIS, in addition to quality assurance guidelines and academic program accreditation requirements. Discussions also covered data related to the implementation of teaching workload and salary systems linked to information technology infrastructure. This seminar is part of a series of periodic meetings organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to monitor institutional performance and enhance coordination among its academic and administrative units, contributing to the development of the university work environment and the achievement of the highest standards of quality in higher education.
