On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Faculty of General Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop titled “Women’s Contribution to Daily Life and Nutrition and Its Impact on Public Health,” with the participation of a number of faculty members and students, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness within the university community.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific and awareness-raising events organized by Al-Mustaqbal University in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 on good health and well-being.
The workshop aimed to highlight the pivotal role women play in daily life, particularly in adopting healthy dietary behaviors, given their direct impact on the health of families and society, as well as promoting a culture of proper nutrition and disease prevention.
The event featured awareness-raising lectures and educational sessions addressing healthy eating patterns and the importance of women’s role in establishing sound dietary habits within the family, alongside a discussion of the key challenges facing the achievement of nutritional balance amid the demands of daily life.
The workshop saw significant engagement from the audience, with questions and comments that enriched the discussion and reflected a growing awareness of the importance of healthy nutrition and its role in promoting public health.
The College Dean’s Office emphasized that organizing such workshops is part of its commitment to supporting awareness-raising activities that contribute to building a healthy and informed society, noting the importance of empowering women and strengthening their role in promoting a culture of health.
