The College of Medicine at AL MUSTAQBAL University participated in an institutional accreditation workshop organized by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, with active attendance from faculty members and staff, as part of its strategic plan to achieve institutional accreditation, improve the quality of educational programs, and graduate qualified medical professionals. This participation reflects the college’s commitment to strengthening the concepts of comprehensive quality and implementing best practices in evaluation and institutional development, in support of medical education and the integration of its academic and administrative aspects. The workshop addressed several key topics, including national and international institutional accreditation standards, mechanisms for preparing self-assessment reports, ways to improve learning outcomes, and the development of academic programs in line with labor market needs. It also highlighted the role of good governance in promoting a culture of quality among academic and administrative staff. The workshop witnessed a rich exchange of expertise and experiences with specialists in quality assurance and academic accreditation, contributing to the enhancement of the college’s institutional performance and its capacity to graduate competent medical professionals capable of serving the community and advancing the healthcare sector.
