The College of General Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University received, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, a Quality Monitoring Team from the University Presidency, represented by Iman Sahib Jaber and Haider Jawad Kazem. The visit aimed to follow up on the implementation of quality standards within the framework of institutional accreditation requirements, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic and administrative performance and achieve continuous improvement in the quality of its outputs.
This visit comes within the growing focus on strengthening the culture of institutional quality within the college and reinforcing its commitment to accredited academic standards at both the local and international levels.
The visit aimed to evaluate the college’s compliance with the six institutional accreditation standards and assess their implementation across academic and administrative aspects. It also sought to identify strengths and enhance them, while addressing challenges to ensure continuous performance improvement.
The visit included a field tour of several departments and units, during which the team reviewed quality-related documents and reports, examined the mechanisms for implementing standards, and discussed development plans aimed at improving educational outcomes in line with institutional accreditation requirements.
The Quality Monitoring Team emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of quality and sustainable institutional work, stressing the need for continuous development in accordance with approved standards.
