<br />Under the patronage and presence of Mr. Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi, Governor of Babylon, and in line with its vision of supporting youth potential and adopting pioneering initiatives, Al-Mustaqbal University launched the preparatory activities for the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp, scheduled to be held in early October at the Babylon Tourist Resort.<br /><br />The event was attended by the Governor of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, alongside the university’s vice presidents, deans, heads of departments, faculty members, staff, and students enrolled in the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability program.<br /><br />The session opened with a presentation delivered by Prof. Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, who reviewed the camp’s objectives, organizational framework, and ongoing preparations to ensure its success. He also announced the launch of the AI Hackathon for Sustainability, designed to provide students with a creative space to showcase their ideas and apply modern technologies in addressing sustainable development challenges.<br /><br />A panel discussion followed, featuring the Governor of Babylon, the University President, and Prof. Dr. Ammar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law. In his remarks, the University President welcomed the distinguished guests, commending the Governor’s active support of the scientific and cultural activities organized by the university. He stressed that the camp represents a vital platform for youth dialogue and a valuable opportunity to build networks with partners across various sectors.<br /><br />For his part, the Governor expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Al-Mustaqbal University for adopting such pioneering initiatives, noting that this camp is the first of its kind among Iraqi universities.
