Scientific research in the shadow of the rapid development of artificial intelligence has become a central pillar in shaping the future of knowledge. The tremendous progress in AI capabilities is no longer limited to being a supportive tool but has evolved into a strategic partner in producing scientific knowledge and advancing research. Today, researchers can process massive volumes of data in a short time, uncover hidden patterns that were difficult to detect using traditional methods, and generate predictions with remarkable accuracy. These capabilities have paved the way for innovative breakthroughs in medicine through the development of precise diagnostic techniques, in environmental sciences by forecasting natural disasters and creating adaptive strategies, and in energy by improving the efficiency of resource utilization. The role of AI goes beyond accelerating research; it significantly enhances the quality, credibility, and impact of scientific outcomes, empowering researchers to make more effective scientific decisions. This transformative shift directly supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 9, “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,” as integrating AI into scientific research strengthens digital infrastructure, drives innovation, and lays the foundation for a technology-based knowledge economy. The integration of scientific research with artificial intelligence represents an intellectual and practical revolution that contributes to building a comprehensive knowledge society, capable of facing global challenges with intelligence and sustainability.
