Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, and with direct supervision by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Walaa Loay Al-Fallouji, the College of Medicine actively participated in the first day of the “Future Ambassadors for Sustainability” Camp, held by the university with wide participation from students and faculty members across its colleges.
The College of Medicine's participation was distinguished by high levels of engagement and enthusiasm, as its faculty and students took part in various activities and educational workshops focused on the concepts of environmental and health sustainability, and the role of medical education in raising community awareness towards environmental and public health issues.
Through its dedicated booth, the college also showcased student-led projects and ideas aimed at promoting the culture of sustainable health and emphasizing the vital role of physicians in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
This participation reflects the College of Medicine’s commitment to contributing effectively to university-wide initiatives that enhance environmental and societal awareness, and strengthen the principles of responsibility and integration between medical knowledge and sustainability.
