Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Waleed Louay Al-Falluji, the College of Medicine continued its active participation on the second day of the “Future Ambassadors for Sustainability” Camp, with broad involvement from students and academic staff.
The second day witnessed remarkable attendance and engagement from the college’s professors and students, who actively participated in workshops and awareness activities focused on concepts of environmental and health sustainability, as well as the role of medical education in promoting community awareness and enhancing responsible behavior toward public health and the environment. Al-Mustaqbal University continues to lead private universities in Iraq.
The college also took part in its dedicated information booth, showcasing a variety of student projects and innovative ideas aimed at promoting sustainable healthcare culture and highlighting the role of physicians in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
This participation reflects the commitment of the College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University to supporting university initiatives that aim to enhance environmental and community awareness, and to strengthen the principles of social responsibility and the integration of medical education with sustainability concepts.
