Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, the College of Medicine organized a friendly football match on Saturday, October 25, 2025, between the students of the College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University and their counterparts from the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon. The match was held as part of student activities aimed at promoting communication and cooperation among Iraqi universities. The game took place at Al-Mustaqbal University Stadium, witnessing a notable turnout of students and faculty members. Both teams displayed excellent performance, reflecting the spirit of fair competition and high-level skills. The match ended in a draw, in a friendly atmosphere that highlighted the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, collaboration, and strengthening academic and social relations among students. This event aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University and the College of Medicine’s efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by encouraging physical activity to promote mental and physical health, as well as Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by building bridges of cooperation and interaction between Iraqi universities to support academic, cultural, and sports exchange.
