Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, and as part of student activities aimed at promoting health awareness in the community, students of the College of General Medicine organized an awareness workshop titled:
“Early Detection of Breast Cancer… A Safe Life”, with the guidance of the college’s academic staff.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and its role in preventing breast cancer, in addition to highlighting risk factors, modern diagnostic methods, and treatment approaches. It included presentations and interactive discussions delivered by students on the latest techniques for self-examination and early detection.
This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to promote a culture of health awareness and community service, and supports Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, in line with the university’s vision of cultivating a generation of medical professionals who are knowledgeable, responsible, and committed to the health of individuals and society.
