Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, and as part of the cultural and awareness activities at the College of Medicine, Dr. Ban Zaher Dabbah, a faculty member at the college, organized an awareness workshop titled: “The Uprising of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him)… Timeless Values and Human Lessons”, attended by a number of students and academic staff. The workshop addressed the intellectual and humanitarian dimensions of the uprising of Imam Hussein (PBUH), highlighting it as an enduring model of reform, confronting injustice, and promoting principles of justice and human dignity. It emphasized the importance of drawing ethical values from this historic movement to cultivate responsible and conscious individuals in society. This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing cultural and spiritual awareness among its students, and to instilling human values that contribute to building a society founded on peace and justice, thereby supporting Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
