Under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of General Medicine, Prof. Dr. Waleed Louay Al-Falluji, the College of General Medicine organized a scientific workshop titled “Impact of Water Scarcity on Public Health,” as part of the college’s commitment to enhancing health awareness and highlighting environmental issues that have a direct impact on human health. The workshop aimed to discuss the health implications of water scarcity, review the major challenges associated with water shortages, and present preventive measures and solutions to mitigate their effects on society, with the participation of a group of specialists and those interested in health and environmental affairs. This activity is part of a series of scientific events through which the college seeks to support medical knowledge and strengthen its role in serving the community.
