Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of General Medicine, Professor Dr. Walaa Loay Al-Falluji, the College of General Medicine organized a scientific seminar entitled:
“The Role of Medical Specialties in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.”
The seminar aimed to highlight the vital role played by various medical specialties in supporting sustainable development pathways, particularly in the health, environmental, and community sectors, and to enhance academic awareness of the importance of integrating sustainability concepts into medical practice and health education.

The event was held on Saturday, 20/12/2025, in the Student Activities Hall, and was attended by a number of faculty members of the College.
This seminar comes as part of a series of scientific activities that the College of General Medicine is keen to organize in support of the academic journey and in promoting a culture of research and innovation, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
