College of Health and Medical Techniques Department of Community Health Techniques Organizes an Awareness Campaign on Autism Spectrum Disorder and Prospects of Diagnosis and Treatment As part of its continuous efforts to serve the community and enhance academic health awareness, the Department of Community Health Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Techniques, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Autism Spectrum Disorder and Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment.” The campaign was held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, within the university campus. Campaign Themes The campaign highlighted three main themes: Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder Modern Diagnostic Methods Treatment and Intervention Options The campaign aimed to break the stereotypes associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder and to provide students with the scientific knowledge necessary to better understand and deal with this disorder. It also emphasized the importance of early diagnosis as a fundamental step toward ensuring a better future for individuals with autism. In addition, the campaign witnessed significant interaction from university students and academic staff. The event included scientific discussions as well as the distribution of awareness brochures explaining methods of psychological and social support for individuals with autism and their families. It is worth noting that Al-Mustaqbal University regularly organizes such initiatives that connect academic outcomes with community needs, in line with the principles of sustainable development and the university’s social responsibility.
