Al-Mustaqbal University Invites Its Students to Participate in the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026) Within the framework of its commitment to supporting innovation and enhancing students’ capabilities in modern technological fields, Al-Mustaqbal University has invited its students from various scientific and humanities disciplines to participate in the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026). This championship represents an advanced scientific platform aimed at nurturing creative young talents and developing their skills in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital transformation. The championship aims to enable students to transform their innovative ideas into practical applied projects that contribute to addressing societal challenges and providing intelligent technological solutions across various sectors. It also seeks to strengthen the culture of innovation and teamwork among students, in alignment with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of supporting scientific research and developing sustainable knowledge-based technological solutions. The championship includes several competitive tracks covering diverse fields, including the Medical and Nursing Track, the Agricultural and Environmental Track, the Industrial and Engineering Track, the Education and Teaching Track, the Community Service and Humanities Track, in addition to the Artificial Intelligence Applications Track across various domains. The university has called on students wishing to participate to form student teams under official academic supervision and to register the names of team members and academic supervisors before April 1, 2026, through coordination with the relevant authorities at the university. The final deadline for submitting projects in their final format through the championship platform will be July 1, 2026. Participating projects will be evaluated through three main stages, beginning with the first stage at the university level, followed by the regional stage, and culminating in the final stage, during which the winning projects at the national level of Iraq will be selected. The university also affirmed, under the directives of the university presidency, its full support for participating students by providing academic supervision and scientific and technical consultations. This support contributes to the preparation of well-established scientific projects capable of competing and achieving excellence in this important national event, reflecting the advanced academic level of the university’s students and their role in building a technological future based on innovation and knowledge. Furthermore, the university indicated that there is direct coordination and continuous follow-up with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the officially designated coordinators at Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mani and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Kadhim Al-Gharabi, in order to ensure the optimal organization of participation and to provide the necessary support to students, thereby enhancing their opportunities for success and distinction in the championship.
