On the occasion of World Water Day, the Department of Community Health Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific seminar on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the department hall. The seminar, also held via Zoom, was entitled: “Hard Water as a Risk Factor for Hair Health: A Public Health Perspective.” The event was attended by a number of faculty members, students, and individuals interested in health and environmental issues. The seminar was delivered by Professor Dr. Aqeel Handhal Taresh, Head of the Department of Community Health Technologies. He discussed the concept of hard water and the factors contributing to its formation, highlighting its direct and indirect effects on hair and scalp health. His presentation was supported by scientific evidence based on the latest studies in the field of public health. He also reviewed key Al-Mustaqbal University – The First University in Iraq
