The Community Health Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized, on Sunday, April 12, 2026, an awareness booth as part of the first-day activities of the “Fourth Al-Mustaqbal International Sustainability Week,” held in the central hall, under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Aqeel Handhal Tarish, with the participation of academic staff, employees, and students.
This initiative aimed to promote public health awareness and disseminate preventive health culture among students and visitors, in addition to supporting the university’s role in delivering sustainable community health initiatives.
The booth featured a collection of educational and health awareness brochures designed in a simplified scientific format, covering multiple topics including autism spectrum disorder, early disease detection, methods of preventing communicable diseases, and healthy lifestyle practices.
The activity also included providing direct on-site health guidance to visitors, as well as conducting weight measurements with personalized health advice based on the results, contributing to enhancing individual health awareness and encouraging healthy behaviors.
The booth witnessed strong engagement and turnout from students and visitors, reflecting a high level of interest in health awareness activities within the university campus.
Professor Dr. Aqeel Handhal Tarish emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening health education concepts and enhancing the awareness role of academic institutions in serving society.
The activity concluded with appreciation for the efforts of students and staff in successfully organizing the booth.
