Biochemistry is one of the fundamental sciences that contributes to explaining neurological and psychological phenomena arising from chemical changes within the brain. With the increasing spread of digital technology and dependence on electronic media, a new form of addiction has emerged—known as digital drug addiction—which involves the use of specific sound frequencies or vibrations that alter neural activity, producing effects similar to those of traditional psychoactive substances. 1. Neurochemical Interaction of Digital Drugs Digital drugs manipulate sound frequencies to stimulate the brain’s release of dopamine and endorphins, neurotransmitters responsible for sensations of pleasure and relaxation. Continuous artificial stimulation disrupts the brain’s natural chemical system, reducing its responsiveness to normal stimuli and creating both psychological and neurological dependence, closely resembling chemical substance addiction. 2. The Role of Biochemistry in Analyzing Addiction Biochemistry helps in analyzing molecular and enzymatic changes resulting from repeated exposure to these digital frequencies. By studying the levels of neurotransmitters and hormones, researchers can determine the extent of the brain’s biochemical alterations. Biochemical testing can also be used to monitor chemical changes during treatment and to assess patient recovery progress. 3. Biochemically Based Therapeutic Approaches Principles of biochemistry are applied in developing treatment programs aimed at restoring neurochemical balance. This is achieved through medications or nutritional supplements that safely stimulate the natural production of neurotransmitters, combined with psychological and behavioral therapies. These integrated methods help regulate neural activity and reduce withdrawal symptoms caused by discontinuing digital drug exposure. 4. Integration Between Biochemistry and Neuroscience Recent studies emphasize the importance of cooperation between biochemistry and neuroscience to better understand the complex effects of digital drug exposure. Through this interdisciplinary approach, researchers can explore how the brain responds to auditory stimuli and design scientifically grounded therapeutic strategies that address both neurological and biochemical aspects of addiction. Digital drug addiction represents a new scientific challenge that requires collaboration across multiple disciplines, with biochemistry at its core. Through biochemical research, it becomes possible to understand the subtle changes occurring in the brain and to develop modern, evidence-based treatment methods that help individuals regain psychological and neural balance away from harmful digital influences.
