Participation in the Iraq Entrepreneurship and Excellence Shield 2026 Competition
Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in line with the university’s commitment to supporting innovation and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship, Al-Mustaqbal University announces its participation in the national competition for the Iraq Entrepreneurship and Excellence Shield 2026, on the occasion of the Iraqi National Entrepreneurship Day, observed on March 4. This initiative aims to support entrepreneurial projects and innovative ideas that contribute to the development of the national economy and foster an environment of creativity and excellence. Participation is open to startups operating in Iraq and entrepreneurs working across various sectors. Those interested in participating are invited to apply by scanning the QR Code provided in the announcement. Al-Mustaqbal University Launches Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities
Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, with the follow-up of the Academic Supervisor, Prof. Dr. Muzhir Al-Zuhairi, Al-Mustaqbal University announces the launch of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), as part of its strategic vision to promote a culture of innovation and support entrepreneurship within the academic community. The events will be held under the slogan: “Entrepreneurship… Innovative Thinking that Shapes the Future of Nations” on the campus of Al-Mustaqbal University, during the period from February 8 to February 12, 2026. This global event aims to foster entrepreneurial and innovative concepts, develop creative skills, and encourage entrepreneurial initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and the building of an effective knowledge-based economy, through a series of scientific activities, specialized workshops, and seminars. The University invites all its students, faculty members, and researchers to actively participate in these events, highlighting their important role in promoting initiative, excellence, and creativity.
