Conclusion of the "Arduino Basics for Beginners" Course at Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications

Under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, The Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications concluded the "Arduino Basics for Beginners" course, which was designed for members of the university’s Technical Club, as part of its mission to enhance students’ practical and technical competencies in embedded systems and AI. Throughout the course, students engaged in hands-on training sessions, learning the fundamentals of Arduino programming and circuit design. The training culminated with a final practical exam that evaluated their acquired skills, followed by recognition of the top-performing participants. Under the Patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University Ongoing Training Workshops at the Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications on Microcontrollers and Applied Project Development As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to enhance students' technical skills and promote practical, innovation-driven education, and under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications continues to hold a series of specialized training workshops. The most recent workshop focused on microcontrollers and the development of applied smart projects, led by Engineer Mohammed Saad Abis. The session featured hands-on training on programming microcontrollers, integrating sensors and actuators, and connecting these components with AI systems. Prof. Dr. Nidhal K. Al-Abbadi Publishes Scientific Research in a Reputable International Journal on Image Classification Using Artificial Intelligence

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, has co-authored a scientific research paper published in the International Journal of Intelligent Engineering & Systems, a reputable international peer-reviewed journal. The paper, titled: "Texture Classification Using Modified Local Binary Pattern with Singular Value Decomposition and Wavelet Scattering", was co-authored with researcher Ghaith H. Alashour from the University of Kufa. The study presents an innovative hybrid method for texture image classification, combining Modified Local Binary Patterns (LBP), Singular Value Decomposition (SVD), and Wavelet Scattering. This approach significantly enhances classification performance under varying environmental and real-world conditions. The proposed method was tested on six benchmark datasets and demonstrated superior accuracy compared to existing techniques, making a strong contribution to advancements in computer vision and AI-based image analysis. This publication is part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s continued excellence in research and innovation, supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and Goal 4 (Quality Education).
