Director of Quality Assurance at Al-Mustaqbal University Participates as a National Evaluator at Al-Nahrain University

The Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University participated as a member of the National Evaluation Team of the National Council for Institutional Accreditation in conducting the institutional evaluation of Al-Nahrain University, in accordance with the accreditation standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This participation comes as part of national efforts to strengthen quality assurance systems and enhance academic and administrative performance in higher education institutions through the application of rigorous and objective evaluation methodologies that support continuous improvement and institutional accreditation requirements. This assignment reflects the distinguished expertise and active role of Al-Mustaqbal University and its specialized staff in advancing quality assurance and accreditation practices at the national level.

Al-Mustaqbal University Discusses Institutional Cooperation Mechanisms with the National Center for Administrative Development

Al-Mustaqbal University Discusses Institutional Cooperation Mechanisms with the National Center for Administrative Development Within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic orientation toward enhancing quality and institutional integration, and under the guidance of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the University hosted the Director General of the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology at the Ministry of Planning, Dr. Hussein Ali Dawood Al-Gartani, to explore avenues of mutual cooperation. The visit included a meeting that focused on activating the cooperation agreement between the two parties and supporting administrative development programs, digital transformation, and institutional capacity building, in line with quality assurance, governance requirements, and academic accreditation standards. During a field tour, the visiting delegation reviewed the University’s facilities and advanced infrastructure, and attended part of the Al-Mustaqbal Festival for Persons with Disabilities. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Al-Gartani expressed his appreciation for the University’s institutional progress, affirming the Center’s readiness to support Al-Mustaqbal University’s initiatives and strengthen effective partnerships aimed at achieving institutional excellence.

Al-Mustaqbal University Launches the 2025 Anti-Drug Awareness Week with Active Participation from the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department

Al-Mustaqbal University has launched the Iraqi Anti-Drug Awareness Week 2025, under the patronage of the University President, with broad participation from academic leaders and students. The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department played an active role in supporting, organizing, and monitoring the events to ensure their alignment with quality standards and the university’s awareness objectives. The opening day included scientific workshops, student-focused dialogues, and educational exhibitions, including a session on the university’s strategy for combating drugs. The department contributed through oversight and quality assurance to ensure the effectiveness of these activities. The department’s participation reflects the university’s commitment to fostering a safe and healthy campus environment and supporting national efforts to protect young people from the dangers of drug abuse.

Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Participates in Consultative Meeting at Al-Mustaqbal University to Review Preparations for the 2025 Scientific Activities

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the consultative meeting chaired by the University Presidency, with the attendance of directors of the following departments and units: Scientific Affairs, Cultural Relations, Sustainability, Studies and Planning, International Rankings, Continuing Education, Training and Employment, and Women’s Affairs. The meeting focused on reviewing the university’s preparations for implementing the remaining scientific activities planned for 2025. During the meeting, the Quality Assurance Department presented its vision on mechanisms to ensure the quality of upcoming scientific events, emphasizing the importance of coordination among all university units to deliver activities that meet academic standards and achieve meaningful impact within the university community. The department also outlined its plan for monitoring performance indicators related to each activity, documentation and continuous improvement procedures, and its role in supporting organizing committees to ensure program readiness and alignment with national and international requirements. Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Participates in the Regular Meeting to Follow Up on Scientific and Academic Performance at Al-Mustaqbal University

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department participated in the regular meeting held by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University with directors and staff of the university’s scientific departments and units, including: Scientific Affairs, Cultural Relations, Studies and Planning, Training and Employment & Follow-up, Sustainability, Continuing Education, Women’s Affairs, and Psychological and Educational Guidance. The department’s participation aimed to monitor scientific and academic performance and ensure the implementation of plans across the various units, while providing recommendations and observations to enhance the quality of academic and administrative work. During the meeting, the department emphasized its role in monitoring performance indicators, strengthening continuous improvement mechanisms, and supporting other departments to achieve the university’s academic and research objectives efficiently and effectively.
