Director of the Quality Assurance Division Serves as National Evaluator in the Ministry Team Assessing the Islamic University

Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Director of the Quality Assurance Division, participated as a national evaluator within the Ministry of Higher Education’s team assessing the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf, focusing on academic excellence and educational quality. This participation is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research efforts to strengthen institutional accreditation and academic performance evaluation in Iraqi universities, and to promote a culture of quality and scientific leadership in higher education institutions.

he Quality Assurance Department participated in the “Future Ambassadors for Sustainability” camp held at the Babylon Tourist Resort, under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University and in the presence of the Governor of Babylon, faculty members, students, and international delegations.

Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the First International Forum for Continuing Education Centers

Upon an invitation from the Northern Technical University, Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the First International Forum for Continuing Education Centers in Iraqi Universities, held in Nineveh Governorate under the theme “Continuing Education… Renewed Horizons for Leading and Sustainable Iraqi Universities.” The university was represented by Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Head of the Quality Assurance Division, who took part in discussions addressing mechanisms for developing continuing education and enhancing its role in achieving sustainable development. At the conclusion of the forum, participants were honored in recognition of their contributions to the success of this distinguished academic event.

Director of Quality Assurance at Al-Mustaqbal University Serves as a National Evaluator within the Ministerial Team at the College of Basic Education, Al-Mustansiriyah University

The Director of the Quality Assurance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University participated as a national evaluator in the specialized ministerial team from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The team concluded its visit to the College of Basic Education at Al-Mustansiriyah University, which aimed to evaluate the Mathematics and Special Education programs as part of the Program Accreditation Project. The visit involved reviewing academic documentation and assessing the extent to which quality standards were met. The ministerial team praised the college’s efforts in fulfilling accreditation requirements, emphasizing that the visit represents a significant milestone toward achieving full academic accreditation in accordance with national quality standards.

Workshop on Performance Evaluation of Al-Mustaqbal University Staff

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department organized a workshop entitled “Mechanism for Evaluating the Performance of University Staff for the Academic Year 2024–2025”, as part of the university’s efforts to enhance quality practices and meet accreditation standards. Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Manager of the quality assurance Division , delivered a lecture on evaluation mechanisms and performance criteria, while programmer Zainab Latif Wahab presented the evaluation process and the technical support provided to departments. The workshop witnessed active participation from deans, vice-deans, heads of departments, and quality officers, who emphasized its role in fostering a culture of excellence and institutional performance within the university.

Preparation of the Annual Achievements Report 2024–2025 As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of quality and strengthen academic accreditation practices, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University has prepared the Annual Achievements Report for the academic year 2024–2025. The report highlights the university’s key accomplishments during this year, most notably: • Significant progress toward institutional and program accreditation. • Enhancing the university’s presence in national and international rankings. • Developing and updating quality systems and policies in line with accreditation requirements. On this occasion, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department extends its sincere appreciation to all partners in success — colleges, departments, and esteemed colleagues — whose dedication and active contributions have played a pivotal role in achieving these accomplishments and advancing the university’s journey toward excellence.

Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Holds Its First Meeting for the Academic Year 2025–2026

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University held its first meeting for the academic year 2025–2026 with the directors of quality assurance units in the colleges. The meeting reviewed the department’s action plan and affiliated formations, as well as priorities for the upcoming stage in line with academic accreditation requirements and national and international rankings. The Director of Quality Assurance emphasized that this year’s plan focuses on improving academic performance, activating monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and strengthening training and support programs for the colleges. The meeting reaffirmed the university’s vision of fostering a culture of quality and achieving academic excellence.

Al-Mustaqbal University Issues its Annual Procedural Quality Manual

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University has issued the Annual Procedural Manual, aimed at unifying procedures and enhancing performance efficiency in line with quality and accreditation standards, thereby contributing to the development of the university’s systems and supporting its journey toward institutional excellence.
