Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop

Under the patronage of the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University and the supervision of the distinguished Director of the Technological Incubator Division, Al-Mustaqbal University held a workshop titled "Cybersecurity Awareness." The workshop was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohsen Hassoun, a faculty member in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala. The workshop covered essential measures to protect personal and institutional data from unauthorized use. The speaker also discussed the most common types of cyber-attacks and the technical consequences and potential loss of important data that can result. The event was attended by professors and students from Al-Mustaqbal University, particularly from the Computer Engineering and Cybersecurity departments. Attendees engaged in technical discussions, sharing ideas and insights aimed at increasing cybersecurity awareness among Al-Mustaqbal University students.

The Technology Incubator Division held a workshop on how to develop websites for colleges and departments of the University of the Al Mustaqbal.

The pioneering workshop was held at the University of the Al Mustabal, by M.M. Wamid Diaa Shamsi, website official at Al Mustabal University, brought together representatives of websites from various departments and colleges, to discuss and exchange experiences on how to develop websites and understand the new interfaces that have been developed. The workshop included interactive sessions on the latest technologies and practices in the field of website design and development. A detailed explanation of the new interfaces and updates introduced to improve the user experience was provided. Ideas were also exchanged on how to integrate these improvements with the university’s content and provide more effective and attractive information to visitors.

The Technology Incubator Division organized a workshop to train administrators of deanships and departments on how to use the electronic correspondence system. The workshop was delivered by M.M. Reyam Khaled Karim. The workshop included an explanation of the mechanism of the correspondence system through issuing and archiving e-mail, which was attended by a number of those authorized to receive the system. The system included an explanation of the system’s interfaces and mechanism. Working on it, the method of issuing mail, and the mechanism for receiving it as well.

An online workshop entitled “Website Design and Programming.”

The Technology Park Division held a workshop entitled “Website Programming and Design” on September 14, 2023, via the Internet, with distinguished participation from the engineering departments at Future University. The workshop aims to develop programming and website design skills and focus on the latest technologies and tools in this field. The workshop witnessed a large attendance from faculty members in the university’s engineering departments and technology units.The assistant lecturer, Muhammad Maitham, who specializes in website programming, presented topics such as common programming languages, website interface design, databases, and website security. This workshop is considered an important step in enhancing the participants’ skills and culture in the field of website development, and will contribute significantly to improving their understanding of website design and programming and their ability to deal with websites effectively.
