It is considerable to note that Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up Division at Al-Mustaqbal University keeps on playing a pivotal role in supporting Students and enabling them to enter Labor Market by creating Job Opportunities that would match the various Academic Specializations. These efforts are deemed as part of a series of Strategic Partnerships that the Division has established with a selected group of Private Sector Companies across various fields, which include Medicine, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Employment Services, and other vital sectors. Through this Initiative, the Division has aimed to strengthening Direct Communication between Students and Labor Market by providing a Unique QR Code for each Participating Company, allowing Students to access data and information related to available Services, Activities, as well as Job Opportunities. Thus, Students Professional Horizons shall be broadened, and meanwhile, gaining a closer understanding to Labor Market Demands. Besides, and part of this initiative, the Division has organized a Job Exhibition in collaboration with Partner Companies, during which a number of the University Students coming from different Programs have been employed. There is no doubt that this Practical Step shall lead to transforming Partnerships into Real Employment Opportunities. Accordingly, the Activity in question has received wide interest and participation from Students, due to creating tangible opportunities that would help Students and Graduates start their Careers in their Favorite Fields. Furthermore, it is considered a positive step toward equipping them with the Experiences and Skills needed while facing Labor Market Challenges. Finally, we should note that through this Initiative, Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up Division has been emphasizing its ongoing commitment to supporting Students Progress and developing their Abilities, in addition to effectively contributing in the establishment of a Sustainable Educational and Professional Environment that would keep pace with Modern Developments as well as meeting the needs of both Local and International Markets.
Part of its efforts to empower Students as well as Graduates and qualify them to enter Labor Market, Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-Up Division at Al-Mustaqbal University has had an active participation in the "Third International Festival of Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week", where an Integrated Package of Qualitative Activities and Initiatives has been conducted. It is remarkable to note that a Collection of Posters representing Local as well as International Private Sector Companies has been displayed within the Festival, being an essential step towards establishing Strategic Partnerships with these Companies. The Posters have included Introductory Summaries about each Company, accompanied with QR Codes that would allow Students to obtain detailed information about available Training & Employment Opportunities. Besides, the Division has also exhibited Introductory Posters, which outline its Mission, Vision, and Objectives, in addition to the Services it provides to Students after Graduation, along with Organizational Procedures that aim to systematically preparing Students so as to meet Labor Market Requirements, along with an Interactive Questionnaire that has been specifically designed and launched for Students in order to gauge their opinions and perceptions about their Professional Future, in which focus has been on three main issues: Training, Employment, and Scientific Workshops. The Division has emphasized the importance of continuous follow-up as well, providing a Specific Form that can be used to monitor Student and Graduate Data and tracking their Professional Career Development. Moreover, Awareness Brochures and Case Studies have been distributed, highlighting the impact of the Division Activities, along with an Inspiring Presentation submitted by the Student Muhsin, narrating his Success Story as he has managed to establish his own office after graduation due to the qualifications he has obtained during his career at the University. Finally, we are obliged to confirm the fact that Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-Up Division has been quite committed to its vital role in supporting Students and providing them with a stimulating environment for Professional Success, being part of the University Vision to build a Sustainable and Innovative Future.
We would like to note that Al-Mustaqbal Third International Festival Week for Sustainability coincides with the University s Fifteenth Anniversary as well as the Second Anniversary of transferring Al-Mustaqbal College into University. On these occasions Al-Mustaqbal University is planning to organize Distinguished Events during the period 16th – 24th April 2025, including First International Conference on Continuing Education Activities, and Al-Mustaqbal Media Dialogue Forum, in addition to Civil Society Organizations & Private Sector Forum, all along with Al-Mustaqbal Forum for Science & Health Technologies, keeping in mind Sustainable Development Conference on Poverty. It is remarkable to note that the Events shall also include Dialogue Sessions, which mainly focus on the Role of Private Sector in the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. Besides, National & International Partnerships shall be widely reviewed due to their notable impact in the Field of Sustainability. We are obliged to note as well that Numerous Activities and Exhibitions shall be organized, which include Case Study Exhibitions, Volunteer Campaigns, Art Fairs, and Innovation Competitions. Graduation Projects will also be included, along with the distribution of Sustainability Awards, whereas Outstanding Students shall be honored on this occasion. Finally, we would like to invite Our Dear Professors and Students to attend and participate in this Pioneering Event, which integrates ideas with innovation, and meanwhile emphasizing the Role of Law in supporting Sustainability Issues, with the aim of building a better future.
There is no doubt that the Division of Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up is deemed an essential pillar in supporting and qualifying University Graduates so as to meet all Labor Market Requirements, being actively implemented by organizing Specialized Training as well as Qualification Programs that would focus on promoting Personal and Professional Skills, in addition to building Strategic Partnerships with various Sectors, including Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations, which play an effective role in the creation and diversification of Job Opportunities to Graduates, and thus expanding Employment Bases. Statistical Data indicate that the Department has succeeded in the achievement of a Positive & Effective Distribution to the Job Opportunities across these Sectors, as Graduates have been able to benefit from all Employment Opportunities that are available at Government Institutions, and Private Sector, as well as Non-Profit Organizations, in addition to providing other opportunities in the Fields of Self-Employment and Vocational Training. Such Process does reflect the Comprehensiveness and Flexibility of the Division Programs and their responsiveness to Labor Market Demands. Furthermore, the Division of Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up has paid high attention to People with Special needs, as it has worked on providing Fair Employment Opportunities to them, all along with Ongoing Career Guidance and Follow-Up Programs that would assist in achieving a good level of Economic and Social Empowerment to this group. These results however have reflected the Effectiveness of the Division Strategy in the establishment of an Integrated Employment System, in which aspects of Qualification, Empowerment, and Effective Communication with Employers have been uniquely combined, representing indeed an important step toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Fields of Education & Decent Work.
Part of its ongoing efforts to promoting a Sustainable Culture and opening new horizons for Students, Al-Mustaqbal University has been involved into Strategic Discussions with Eco Life being represented by the Company s CEO, Engineer Mr. Abdulrahman. During a Meeting convened on Friday, 28th March 2025 between Al-Mustaqbal University and Echo Life, all the discussions have aimed to integrate Sustainability Principles into the Educational Process, and thus providing real opportunities for University Students to get engaged in Sustainable Projects and Practices. Among the most prominent initiatives being discussed has been the launch of a Joint Podcast between Our University and Echo Life Company, mainly focusing on the Promotion of Sustainability Awareness by hosting Experts in the various fields, and thus covering the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Besides, Eco Life shall actively participate in the Exhibitions organized by Al-Mustaqbal University so as to display its compliant products, in addition to providing Distinguished Training and Employment Opportunities to University Students in the related fields. Awareness Sessions have also been taken into consideration regarding Sustainable Practices at Work, displaying Case Studies and Practical Examples taken from Leading Companies. We are obliged to note however that all initiatives have aimed to provide Students with Empirical Knowledge and Professional Opportunities that would keep pace with Labor Market Requirements, and in light of Major Transformations that the World is witnessing in the Fields of Sustainability & Technology. In a world highly characterized with serious Environmental Challenges, Green Employment has become a central key for shaping Labor Market Future. In other words, Green Employment is no longer limited to reducing paper consumption or promoting digitization, but rather encompasses a Comprehensive Strategy aimed at integrating Sustainability Principles into all stages of the Hiring Process, and thus, strongly contributing in the creation of a balance between Economic Development and Environmental Protection. There is no doubt that Green Employment has been paving the way for a Sustainable Future, in which the Market is quite stabilized, and therefore, we could keep pace with the Developments of Our Modern Era. It has already become familiar that Green Recruitment is an Innovative Approach, which reflects a profound shift in our thinking about Human Resource Sustainability at Labor Market. We are focusing indeed on the development of Comprehensive Strategies that would play an essential role in the improvement of Institutional Performance over long-term periods, taking into account the Environmental, Social, and Economic impact of the Recruitment Practices. All these shall definitely lead to a notable decrease in the Carbon Emissions. Moreover, digitizing Recruitment and Employment Process, such as using Applicant Tracking System (ATS), shall reduce the need for Paper Documents, and meanwhile improving Operational Efficiency. Part of Al-Mustaqbal University Efforts that aim to Promoting Cooperation between Educational and Governmental Institutions in order to support Youth and develop their capabilities, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has had a Meeting with Dr. Ahmed Mohamed El-Mubarqa, Minister of Youth and Sports, and that was on Thursday, 20th March, 2025. During the Meeting, various prospects of cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University and the Ministry of Youth & Sports have been discussed in Areas and Fields where support can be provided to Young People so as to develop their Skills in Sports and Education, and thus strengthening Partnership between the two Parties in the Service of Community. Both Parties have also discussed the possibility of organizing Joint Sports and Educational Events, in addition to launching Training Programs and Development Projects, which focus on promoting and empowering Youth Skills, keeping in mind the necessity to develop Human Resources and achieve Integration between Academic Education and Extracurricular Activities. All these shall lead to preparing Young People to become Future Leaders in the Various Fields. We are obliged to note that the University President has been accompanied on this Visit by Dr. Mazin Gzar, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Sports Club, as well as Mr. Nael Sarhan, Director of Sports & Youth at Babylon Governorate, along with a number of Academics from the College of Physical Education & Sports Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University. For his part, the Minister of Youth & Sports has appreciated the Outstanding Status that Al-Mustaqbal University has managed to achieve, emphasizing its active role in supporting Sports, Youth, and Volunteer Work. Furthermore, he has stressed the vitality of such Cooperation in the Empowerment of Youth Role in Society. There is no doubt that the different types of cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University and Ministry of Youth & Sports shall definitely lead to achieving Sustainable Development and enhancing Integration between Academic Education and Sports Activities, being in accordance with the University Vision and Mission that aim to building up a Promising Generation capable of meeting the Future Demands.
We would like to note that Technology Incubator Division at Al-Mustaqbal University has organized a Workshop, in which a Review has been conducted to the new improvements that have been added to the University Website. This Workshop has been attended by Rehabilitation, Employment & Follow-Up Division, with a number of Faculty Members, Students, and those interested in Technology as well as Employment. It is worth noting that the Workshop has aimed to focusing on those updates that would prmote the User Experiences, including a more Interactive Online Interface, highly improved Student Registration Systems, New Features that would facilitate access to Academic Materials and Services, in addition to improvements that would support Students through their Educational & Professional Journeys. The Technical Team that has been supervising the Website Development, being constituted of Dr. Hassanein Ya rub Mohammed, Mr. Mohammed Maytham Mohammed, and Mr. Wameed Dhia Shamsi, have submitted a Detailed Presentation on how to benefit from these features, offering Attendees the opportunity to experience the updates in action and raising any questions that might come to their minds.
